The trip

This challenging trek offers so much in just 9 days! Your trekking adventure starts in Badaling where you will be trekking along an un-renovated section of the wall and each day you will trek along stony, steep and sometimes slippery paths that make up the wall itself. Some sections have been renovated and others not but you will be experiencing the iconic winding structure of the wall all the way along the mountains, interspersed with crumbling watchtowers.

This trek is a demanding one but with its challenges come rewards; the views are breath-taking especially on a clear day you can look at the beautiful rolling mountain ranges to either side of the wall. As well as this on completion of your challenge you will return to Beijing to have time to explore some of the many attractions of China’s capital city including the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. All site entrance fees, Beijing guide and transport are included in your trip.
